The most useful comparison starts with the work you need done, rather than the nearest name or the lowest visible price. Write a short description of your requirement, then compare profiles against it. A salon appointment, an appliance inspection and a home service visit need different information, even when they are all booked through the same app.
Compare the same service
Read the individual service description and check what is included. Two providers may use similar service names while offering different durations, materials or follow-up work. When a price is shown, ask whether it covers the complete job or only an initial visit. Check any travel, inspection or additional-material charges directly with the provider. Polimalk does not set the final price of an independent provider's work.
Check the practical details
Look at the town, published location, working hours and current availability. A provider being visible in search does not mean they are available for your preferred time. Photos and videos help you understand what a provider has chosen to show, but they do not replace a conversation about your particular requirement. Use only the contact information that the provider has made public.
Read reviews in context
Where reviews are available, consider what the customer says about a completed service, not only the average star rating. A small number of reviews gives you less information than a longer history. A provider with no reviews may be new to the platform; do not invent a conclusion about their work from that absence alone. Only leave your own review of a service you received, and keep private contact details out of the review text.
Understand platform approval
A provider must receive platform approval before their listing appears in public search. Publication is not a professional licence, a quality guarantee or a guarantee that every statement in the profile will suit your needs. For work that requires qualifications or registration, ask the provider to explain their relevant credentials. Do not send identity documents to another user just because they request them.
When something looks wrong
Use the Safety page to report misleading information, inappropriate content or a suspicious request. Include the provider and a clear account of what happened. Keep passwords, OTPs and bank details out of the report. A platform report is reviewed by an administrator; it is not an emergency response service.
